WIN a double pass to Perth International Cabaret Festival

3 June 2021

Seesaw has five double passes to give away to see some of the most exciting acts at the 2021 Perth International Cabaret Festival, which runs from 19 – 27 June at His Majesty’s Theatre.

WIN!

A double pass to the very special Opening Night with Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse
KOORLANGKA: REIMAGINED by award-winning music duo Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse matches rare ancient Noongar language to the glorious strings of the Dolce Ensemble and the piano genius of Russell Holmes. This performance is complete with on stage smoking ceremony (a first for His Majesty’s Theatre) and Welcome to Country (on Saturday 19 June).

2 x double passes to Dragon Lady: The Many Lives & Deaths of Anna May Wong
From immigrant’s daughter to Hollywood’s first Chinese movie star to international style icon, Anna May Wong’s career spanned silent film, talkies, Broadway, cabaret, and television before she was thwarted by alcoholism and an industry unwilling to see past her Asian roots. Fiona Choi (The Family Law, The Letdown, Golden Shield) captivates as Anna May in an intimate performance as she travels through May’s past and tackles her demons (on Thursday 24 June).

2 x double passes to Unsung with Amelia Ryan and Libby O’Donovan
Join this powerhouse duo for a loud, proud, raucous celebration of our original Australian Pop & Rock Divas. An exploration of life in the 1960s, hear the thoroughly entertaining stories and songs that blazed the trails for generations of women to come. With music from Lynne Randell, Little Patti, Judy Stone, Marcie Jones, Wendy Saddington, Margret Roadknight, and more, it’s an uplifting homage that brings these 60s singers into their rightful place in music history (On Friday 25 June).

To be in the running to win one of these double passes to see, simply email competitions@seesawmag.com.au with the title of your preferred show in the subject line and your name and phone number.

Limit of one entry per person.

Deadline for entries: midnight, 13 June 2021. Winners will be notified by email on 14 June 2021.
