Saturday 2 December 2017, 2-4pm @ Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery  ◆

Join access advocates in the wider community as they discuss and share insights into accessibility and inclusion in the arts sector. Hear from guest presenters and join in a discussion with ideas, suggestions and insights on how museums, galleries and art centres can embed empathetic and inclusive design principles at the heart of their programs. Facilitated by Caine Chennatt, LWAG’s access initiative advocate.

This forum will also mark the launch and the first session of the newly formed Arts and Cultural Access Consortium  which brings together cultural administrators and arts workers seeking to create more inclusive programs and workplaces.

Speakers include Simone Flavelle, Digital Producer at DADAA and Dr Scott Hollier, Digital Access Specialist, author and lecturer. More speakers are to be announced. This event is run as part of Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery’s Inclusive Arts Week running from 28 November to 2 December.
