24 October, 11am @ Perth Concert Hall ◆

Hailed by ABC Classic FM as an ‘extraordinary musician’ and BBC Radio 3 as ‘a virtuoso’, there is a reason why Joseph Nolan is widely acknowledged as one of the world’s greatest organists.

Having been chosen to play the opening concert of the restored Grand Ballroom organ in Buckingham Palace, London, recorded for Signum on the ornate baroque organ St Bavokerk, Holland, previously touched by the hands of a young Mozart, Handel and Brahms, and taught by the legendary Marie-Claire Alain in Paris, the list of Nolan’s musical achievements, abilities and charm is extensively lavish.

Nolan will be performing an eclectic mix of repertoire from Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, Widor’s Symphony No 5 (including the famous Toccata) to Michael Flatley, lord of the dance styled music, Dance Suite Rawsthorne and Suite Gothique Boëllmann.

“Extraordinary to have someone of Nolan’s calibre in Perth”
– Very Reverend Richard Pengelley, Anglican Dean of Perth.

Don’t miss a show that is sure to immerse you into the world of musical beauty and grandiose.
