Dive into the Perth Festival this summer to celebrate Perth’s unique brilliance
and beauty and share extraordinary experiences with the world’s most exciting
artists. The Festival makes Perth hotter than ever in 2019. World premieres
proudly stamped Made in WA will surprise and delight among 300 international
events spanning theatre, circus, music, dance, film, literature and the visual
arts.

The Festival opens with the free sound and light spectacular Boorna
Waanginy: The Trees Speak transforming Kings Park into a nocturnal
wonderland of Noongar culture and ecological awareness over four nights. See the Australian premiere of Komische Oper Berlin’s dazzling The Magic Flute and many events exclusive to Perth, which means you cannot see them anywhere else in Australia.

A third of our events are free and people should catch our Tix for $36 deals to see
the greatest shows on earth right here in Perth. Highlights include Gatz from New
York’s Elevator Repair Service, the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir, Dada
Masilo’s Giselle, the Vietnamese circus Lang Toi, the stunning The Great Tamer,
from the director of the 2004 Athens Olympic Opening Ceremony and the
talent-packed Perth Writers Week.

For three weeks, you can dance your nights night away to the global beats at
Chevron Gardens or catch a film under the stars at Lotterywest Films all summer long.
