La quête du divin passe chez les soufis par la transe, la répétition du même motif chanté et dansé, qui exprime l'ardent désir de l¿âme de retrouver sa source originelle. Shoof (Hosni Hertelli), street-artist tunisien, la perçoit comme « une énergie pure qui vient du profond intérieur, qui ratisse large, qui s¿étend sans fin, transporte tout sur son horizon, pour
étrangement le recentrer, le « verticaliser »,tel un point de lumière qui fuse pour communier avec le ciel ».
Il est accompagné par une grande voix de la mosquée des Omeyyades de Damas, Noureddine Khourshid de la confrérie soufie Shâdhiliyya, l'une des plus importantes du monde arabe et de deux danseurs de la confrérie Mawlawiyya des derviches tourneurs de Damas.
Ce spectacle, dans la confrontation du sacré et du profane, de la musique et de l'art visuel, propose une expérience sensorielle et spirituelle forte. White Spirit On the outside, looking in
