Film: Talks: 2040 Q&As with filmmaker Damon Gameau

Award-winning director Damon Gameau (That Sugar Film) is back with “2040” – a documentary where he embarks on a journey to explore what the future could look like by the year 2040 if we simply embraced the best solutions already available to us to improve our planet and shifted them rapidly into the mainstream. This is the narrative the next generation needs to see, to aspire to, and to believe is possible.

Ahead of the official release of the film on 23 May, Damon Gameau will attend advance Q&A screenings across Perth at the end of April.

The 2019 Alliance Française French Film Festival has kicked off in Perth. Check out the array of Special Events below this years festival has to offer. The festival is screening at Cinema Paradiso, Palace Raine Square, Luna SX, The Windsor & Camelot Outdoor Cinema until April 10.

Taste of France – WINE CALLING – Sunday 24th March

Wine lovers alert! Savour some cheese with a glass of wine before the screening of the documentary that inspired the 2018 Festival hit Back To Burgundy. This sparkling documentary introduces us to a small but dedicated group of wine growers in the south of France, intent on developing natural methods of wine production. Over one year we follow these pioneers, from the harvest to the bottling, as they lead a rising global movement in the quest for taste and sustainability.
