26 September – 7 October @ Cathedral Square Precinct

Proximity Festival 2017 is 10 days of micro-performances, intimate walking tours, caffeine-fuelled discussions and a late night party 26 September – 7 October 2017. The fifth Proximity Festival will take place in Perth’s historic heart – Cathedral Square.

This is the first time Proximity has occupied an inner city precinct, enabling artists freedom to occupy multiple sites and create intimate experiences inside some of Perth’s most historic buildings and surrounds for an audience of one at a time.

Proximity’s new biannual program brings together nine extraordinary Australian artists who invite you to reconsider what performance can be.

Get ready to search for love in high places, celebrate black matriarchy through power-laden rap, pit yourself against a robotic tennis opponent, and take a ride back-seat on a film set.

Program announced and tickets on sale 22 August.
