Work with us

Seesaw Magazine is Western Australia’s home for independent arts journalism. We champion the artists, organisations and ideas shaping our state’s cultural life, and we do it through thoughtful, accessible storytelling that connects communities.

We’re a small, collaborative team driven by creativity, curiosity and a shared belief in the value of independent arts coverage. When opportunities arise, we look for people who bring clarity, initiative and a genuine passion for the arts.

Below is our current opportunity.

Seesaw is looking to expand our Board!

Board Directors

As Seesaw celebrates sustained growth and increasing impact, we are expanding our Board of Directors and invite expressions of interest from values‑aligned individuals committed to strong governance and the public value of arts and culture.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking people passionate about arts and culture and / or independent media who bring strategic thinking, a collaborative approach and an interest in stakeholder‑focused governance. Previous board experience is valued.

Seesaw is committed to inclusive governance. We strongly encourage expressions of interest from women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people of colour, and individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Lived experience is valued alongside professional expertise.
