11 October, 5 – 8pm @ State Library WA, 25 Francis Street, Perth ◆
Join us for an interactive forum on the need for self-care for artists and arts workers engaged in community arts and cultural development.
Artists and arts workers working within complex community settings are often at risk of stress and the potential to burn out, particularly where communities and participants have or are experiencing trauma.
Through a panel Q&A and lively discussion, this forum will explore the pressures and challenges faced in CACD work, both nationally and in WA, and how artists and organisations can mitigate some of the risks.
Facilitated by Lockie MacDonald, panellists include Marcelle Riley, Poppy van Oorde-Grainger, Karen Hethey and Scotia Monkivitch.
