January 30 – February 3 @ St Georges Cathedral •
Presented by Kinetica •

A pause; a failure of a heart’s action; unconsciousness… From the winners of the 2017 FRINGE WORLD Circus Award, Syncope explores the anatomy and physiology of the human body through an intriguing cocktail of aerials, acrobatics and performance art. How do we know that we’re awake? How do emotions affect our body? A visceral experience that is as thought-provoking as it is heart-stopping.

Previous reviews for Kinetica:

“A polished performance on quite a remarkable scale” The Sydney Morning Herald

“strikingly simple yet powerful… better than Cirque du Soleil” SYN media

“A unique aesthetic that will keep you wanting more…beautifully visual” The Australia Times

“A mixture of aerial and acrobatics that will make you whisper under your breath: how is that possible?” To Autumn
