Hailing from Ghana via Brooklyn, Jojo Abot is a revolutionary of hypercolour Afrobeat punk. Her vocals are hypnotic, her sheer presence, mesmerising. The new kween of contemporary African sounds, she is equal parts Erykah Badu and performance art hurricane. Commanding, demanding and riotously engaging – this is the voice of now.
Abot shares the stage with a blistering array of Afrobeat artists charting new territory for global sounds. Completing the bill is a star of Ghana’s future soul scene, the charismatic Stay Jay. Renowned for bringing the sweet party vibes, Stay Jay will ensure the crowd is jumping and an array of DJs will close the night with furore.
Saturday night is a great night to party. And shake it we will.
