The Fremantle Biennale is thrilled to present a diverse array of site-responsive art and architecture through a public program of works by celebrated international and Australian artists and architects. Situated in open, hidden, underused and interesting spaces throughout Fremantle, discover how each artist responds to the history, landscape and communities that make up the rich tapestry of this port -side city.
UNDERCURRENT is the guiding theme of the second Fremantle Biennale – immerse yourself from 1 – 24 November 2019, and dive deep into the (mainly free-to-attend) programme of visual art,performance, music, contemporary dance, architectural pavilions and film.
