Kate Ferguson is an award-winning journalist, photographer and video producer who has worked across newspapers, publications, television and radio for the BBC, ABC, Seven West Media, Outback Magazine, and Tourism Western Australia. Kate has an adventurous spirit and is renowned for outback storytelling, including her multimedia work in exhibitions such as Gwalia’s Gold – its people and places, The Pioneer’s Pathway, PowerUp Museum, and the State Timber Museum. When Kate isn’t wrangling a camera, drone, or a laptop in a far-flung place, she enjoys writing and playing music of the heavier variety – including a seven string guitar. Kate is currently the Convenor for Women in Media Western Australia.
