JEALOUSY. MURDER. BRADY BRUNCH.

Presented by The Blue Room Theatre Summer Nights and SALT. – a new collective that champions uncompromising and explosive Australian writing – comes Anna Barnes’ gripping Minus One Sister. This marks the company’s debut production and brings together a team of fresh-faced graduates from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.

There were three sisters. No, three minus one, two sisters.
Do you remember the sirens? Or was it the screams first? You could see it in his face and the growing grey strip in the middle of his hair. Father kills daughter. Mother kills father. It’s one way to play happy family.

Minus One Sister is Electra furiously wrenched into the present where bloodshed and violence go hand in hand with iPhones, Instagram and goon.
“Anna Barnes has tapped into something essential and immediate about young women, about anxiety and terror and anger and a constant, destructive lack of control over their own bodies and lives.” ★★★★ Time Out Sydney
