25 & 26 August @ Mandurah Performing Arts Centre.
By Roslyn Oades & collaborators, presented by Performing Lines.

Hello Goodbye & Happy Birthday is the celebration of two epic birthdays – Eighteen and eighty – major milestones in adult life. One represents untold potential; the other, the accumulation of a lifetime of experiences – the aspirations, fears and memories. Scripted from intimate real-life conversations with people experiencing these milestone birthdays, Hello Goodbye & Happy Birthday is an unforgettable performance giving the audience an ability to eavesdrop on those figuring out where to begin and those wondering out how to say goodbye.

Playful and affecting in equal measure, this show sees Oades continue her ground-breaking ‘headphone verbatim’ documentary theatre technique, to create extraordinarily immediate and vivid performances.

Hello Goodbye & Happy Birthday is touring nationally until 2 September.
