1-2 December @ Perth Concert Hall ◆
Presented by West Australian Symphony Orchestra ◆

Two choral masterpieces by Brahms, and Strauss’ epic A Hero’s Life.

Avner Dorman’s sometimes introspective, sometimes explosive “After Brahms: Three Intermezzi for Orchestra” provides the perfect gateway between our world and that of Brahms, whose poetic works for choir and orchestra themselves pave the way for Richard Strauss’ autobiographical tone poem, Ein Heldenleben (A Hero’s Life). This is repertoire at the very centre of Asher Fisch’s art and promises to be a concert long-remembered.
