What happens when the nation’s hopes and dreams are placed on the shoulders of one humble country teenager? Miss Westralia is a hilarious coming of age tale based on the life of a lesser known local heroine, Beryl Mills – the very first Miss Australia!
The audience follows Beryl’s journey from a Geraldton sheep station to the United States where she embarks on her promotional tour as the “ideal” Australian woman. Miss Westralia fuses together physical theatre, comedy and original songs to bring this local story to life.
