Praised for her innate musicality and ‘vocal radiance’, Stefanie Irányi joins WASO in the ethereal finale of Mahler’s Fourth Symphony, music that describes a child’s vision of Heaven.
We open the concert with the Andante from Schuber’s exquisite Death and the Maiden before traversing the world in Berio’s Folk Songs.
