Tomás Ford introduces his new record label for fringe festival weirdos, underground legends, local music iconoclasts and whatever other awesome lost creatures he can find: Normal Place.
He’s throwing a big stupid cabaret party at the Ibis as part of the WAM Fest Live Friday night spectacular. Entry is free and it promises to be the kind of big label launch that you’d like to think John Wheatley would’ve thrown for John Farnham in 1984 except maybe without all the cocaine (and certainly without any of that sweet, sweet money).
