Perth’s fringe comedy idiot-in-chief Tomás Ford is turning 36. Which, as he has been at pains to tell everyone, isn’t even THAT old. But he likes a stupid idea for a party as much as anyone, so here he is with Tomas  Ford’s 36th Birthday Premature Funeral happening at The Aardvark in Freo on Saturday November 3.

Tomas Ford  has had another big year, touring his Crap Music Rave Party like a maniac, getting his label The Fxxk Yxu off the ground and building up a bunch of mad gigs including his hit Friday Night Fringe monthly showcase of fringe fantasticness. He’ll be joined on the night for a head-to-head live set with his pal Ze Rebelle, in town all the way from Malaysia. She will be bringing her distinctive brand of glam electro pop as she tours behind her huge new LP Univerze. The set will include some fresh duets, including Touch Me Touch Me from Tomás’ long awaited LP Chase!, finally out in 2019.

Who else is playing? A huge variety lineup of fringe freaks and idiots, including ex-Perth Jojo Bellini all the way from the London. JoJo puts regal cabaret style into her punk rock, karaoke-fuelled cabaret. She arrives fresh from kicking all kindsa ass at the Edinburgh Fringe. Who the fuck else though? Jamie Mykaela is THE rising star to watch on the Perth cabaret scene, sitting somewhere in a triangulation of riot girl attitude, take-no-prisoners comedy and the twee-est arrangements this side of Owl City.

Can there be more? Yes. Yes there can. Direct from hell and winning Spirit Of The Fringe at Fringe World for doing a gig at Perth Arena to two people, Sonnenmasse is here to do things to you. And, yeah, there’ll be all the stupid comedy burlesque, spoken word, comedy and cabaret dumbness you could want (lineup to hit the facebook event like a talent-saturated brick soon).

Tickets $18 (+bf) or $25 on the door IF available.
