9 March @ Bassendean Community Cinema ·
Presented by Town of Bassendean and Bassendean Community Cinema ·
After the success of last year’s sold out event, The Town of Bassendean and Bassendean Outdoor Cinema are proud to announce the return of Silent Screen + Live Sounds on Saturday, 9 March at Bassendean Community Cinema. Take a trip down memory lane and revisit the humour and artistry of the 1920’s silent film era with a rare screening of two classic Buster Keaton films The High Sign (1921) and Sherlock Jr. (1924).
Acclaimed West Australian music group Viola Dana, will once again be returning to perform their live original music scores to accompany the screenings.
Gates open from 6:30 pm with the film screening commencing at 7:45 pm. Entry is free and we encourage you to head down early to avoid disappointment.
Bring a picnic or purchase food from one of the many local businesses on Old Perth Road that will be operating on the night.
Silent Screen + Live Sound is a pet free and smoke free event. Be sure to follow the event page for additional event info and exciting updates.
